J&K Athlete Ansa Hassan Chishti Clinches Gold in Moscow Wushu Championship

Jammu and Kashmir’s rising and top-ranked wushu star Ansa Hassan Chishti clinched a gold medal at the Moscow Wushu Star International Championship 2026, delivering a standout performance while representing India on the global stage, J&K Sports Council said on Sunday.Chishti’s achievement, as per a statement shared by J&K Sports Council on their social media handle Facebook, marks a significant milestone for J&K, with the athlete showcasing exceptional skill, discipline, and composure against top international competitors in Moscow.

Hailing from Kashmir, Chishti’s journey from local training grounds to an international podium reflects years of dedication and perseverance. The gold medal win has been widely hailed as a proud moment for both Jammu and Kashmir and the country.
