Vishansar Lake is located at an altitude of 3710 m above sea level around 20 km from Sonamarg. It is a part of famous Kashmir Great Lakes Trek between tourist resorts Sonmarg and Naranag in Ganderbal District.
The lake is around 1 km long and 0.6 km wide.
