Skill Development Programme on Entrepreneurship Concludes at SKUAST-K

A week-long Advanced Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programme entitled “Empowering high-end Agri-entrepreneurs: Advanced training in sexed semen technology for profitable dairy farming” concluded on Wednesday in a valedictory function held at Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Shuhama campus of SKUAST-K.

Prof. Riyaz Ahmed Shah, Dean F.V.Sc. & A.H. who was chief guest on the occasion praised the endeavor and emphasized on organizing more such programmes in future.

He encouraged the participants to utilize the knowledge and experience gained for entrepreneurship development. He also congratulated the entire organising team and the division of ARGO for successful completion of the programme.

Earlier, Dr. Asloob Ahmed Malik, Head, Division of Animal Reproduction Gynaecology and Obstetrics (ARGO) welcomed the guests formally and congratulated the participants for successful completion of this training.

The trainees included agri-entrepreneurs and graduates from various fields from all the districts of the Kashmir valley.

Experts from prestigious institutes across the India with ample experience on the subject delivered lectures to enlighten the participants about the sexed semen technology for profitable dairy farming. Participants in their feedback expressed satisfaction and stressed for more trainings in this area.
