Shah Hamdan – The First Mosque of the valley

Shah-e-Hamdan is located in Srinagar on the banks of the Jhelum near the Zaina Kadal area. It is an iconic and beautiful piece of architecture with hand painted paper-machine interiors all over and “khatambund” work ceiling inside.
