A vocational training programme under the Rural Self Employment Scheme (RSETI) has commenced in Pulwama, aiming to equip educated young women with practical skills and entrepreneurial knowledge to become financially independent and successful business owners.
The initiative focuses on developing vocational expertise, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and business management skills, enabling participants to start their own enterprises and generate sustainable livelihoods.Officials said the programme is designed to encourage women-led entrepreneurship, foster self-employment, and create new economic opportunities for educated girls in rural areas. Through hands-on training and guidance, participants will gain the confidence to establish and manage their own businesses.
