Pulwama Athletes Selected for Youth National Kabaddi Championship

-Two young Pulwama athletes from PMDP Kabaddi Centre have been selected to represent J&K in the 1st Youth National Kabaddi Championship for Boys and Girls, scheduled to be held at Haridwar from June 28 to July 1.

Sunaina Gulzar, daughter of Gulzar Ahmad Bhat from Putrigam, has been selected in the Under-18 Girls category, while Hamid Javaid, son of Javaid Ahmad Khan from Lassipora, will represent J&K in the U-18 Boys category. Both athletes have earned their place through dedication and strong performances.

The teams from J&K will compete under the banner of the J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council.

Mentor Gowhar Muzaffar Shah, General Secretary of Pulwama Kabaddi Association Shahzaib Gull, Sports Promoter Faizan Qayoom and Raman Verma congratulated both athletes and extended best wishes for their performance in the championship and success in their future sporting careers.
