“Police Martyrs Memorial Cricket Tournament” held in Ganderbal

Police under Civic Action Programme Monday organised Police Martyrs Memorial Cricket Tournament at Sheikh-ul-Aalam Stadium, Kangan in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
The inaugural programme of the tournament was presided by SSP Ganderbal Shri Ragav S. In his inaugural address, SSP Ganderbal commended all the teams for their participation. He emphasised the importance of sports in improving both the physical and mental well-being while steering youth away from drugs and other negative influences. A total of eight (08) teams from across the district are participating in the tournament, providing local youth an opportunity to showcase their talent. The event also aims to promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among the participants. The event was also attended by Addl. SP Ganderbal Parvaiz Ahmad, SDPO Kangan Shri Faraz Hussain, DySP Nazir Ahmad, and other senior officers.
