Police hosts Girls’ Volleyball Tournament in Anantnag

Under the aegis of Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2024-25, Police in Anantnag district of South Kashmir Tuesday conducted girls’ volleyball tournament at Shri Ravi Jee Higher Secondary School, Khanabal, to promote sportsmanship, discipline, and healthy competition among young athletes.
A total of eight teams are participating in the tournament. The inaugural match saw an exciting contest between Shri Ravi Jee Higher Secondary School, Khanabal and Blue Club Girls, with Blue Club Girls securing victory.
Police said that it remains committed to engaging youth in constructive activities, fostering talent, and strengthening community relations through sports. “Such initiatives will continue to encourage young athletes and contribute to their overall development,” the police said.
