Northern Army Commander Takes Stock of Security Situation in North Kashmir

 Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander, Northern Command, today visited hinterland formations and units in North Kashmir to assess their operational readiness and review the prevailing security situation.


During the visit, he was briefed by senior field commanders on the current security scenario in the region.
Discussions were held with focus on strengthening coordination and synergy among various security and intelligence agencies to effectively deal with emerging challenges.
The Army Commander appreciated the dedication and professionalism of the troops deployed in the region.


He commended their efforts in maintaining a high level of alertness and operational preparedness, which has helped in ensuring peace and stability in North Kashmir.
He also stressed the need for continued vigilance, better inter-agency coordination, and greater community engagement to further strengthen the security environment in the region.
