Meet Malik Kamila Mushtaq secured first Rank in KAS Exam.

 

A B.Tech student of Karan Nagar Srinagar district who topped KAS 2018 said that “I was confident of my success” and avowed that she would always work for the betterment of people.

Malik Kamila Mushtaq daughter of a retired government employee had completed her B.Tech from J&Ks prestigious and professional college National Institute of Technology (NIT) in the field of Civil Engineering.Kamila who topped the prestigious exam told that she was confident of his success in this elite exam. “I was definitely confident that I would qualify the exam because of my performance in mains and interview”, she said.

Expressing her wish, Kamila told that she is not going to stop her struggle here but to find space in IAS. “I have cracked KAS with 1st rank but my goal is to crack IAS”, Kamila said.

While suggesting a good future to other youngsters, she said that the cracking KAS is a mixture effort. “One has to be dedicated and patient, it needs consistency. It is not overnight job, it needs lot of hard work”, she said.She added that it would be a great opportunity for me to serve people and address their concerns. “I would be honor for me to serve people and ease their hardships while remaining in bureaucracy”, she said.

KAS 2018 results which were declared on September 29, topped Malik Kamila Mushtaq followed by Mir Dawar Habib at 2nd while Diksha Raina at 3.
Out of 194, 70 candidates cracked the exam who were called for interviews. Earlier 70 vacant positions have been referred to PSC on May 2018 as many as 25188 candidates had appeared in preliminary examination which was held on September 16, 2018. Out of 1750 candidates who qualified preliminary exam, 1703 appeared in mains. Subsequently 229 candidates were declared successful out of whom 194 appeared in the interview.
