Mahila Shakti Kendra Srinagar to provide help to women affected by violence

Women in Kashmir have equal rights as men and are now on respected positions. However, due to some bad elements of society, even today many women live in fear of violence.Mahila Shakti Kendra Srinagar will be providing aid and all the facilities for smooth functioning and proper care of women affected by the violence at District Level Centre for Women. The MSK would provide help to the affected women, which include services like a medical facility, lodging of an FIR, counseling, facilitation of justice to the women affected by violence, providing of short-stay shelter, other facilities to the women, and any violence affected women shall not suffer and all the facilities shall be provided to them. Even the Holy Quran contains tens of verses extolling the good treatment of women and these verses make it clear that the relationship between men and women is to be one of kindness, mutual respect, caring, and under no circumstances is violence against women encouraged or allowed. Yet many still commit this horrifying sin.
