Kashmiri Endocrinologist Dr. Tasaduk Hussain Itoo Takes Place on US Endocrine Society Board

Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo, acclaimed Kashmiri doctor, public health expert, medical educator and writer, has been nominated to serve on the Board of Directors panel (Early Career Director position) of the US-based Endocrine Society — the world’s largest and most influential organization dedicated to hormone science and endocrine health.

Founded in 1916 and headquartered in Washington, D C, the Endocrine Society represents over 18,000 scientists and clinicians from more than 120 countries. Its Board of Directors plays a pivotal role in guiding global endocrine policy, advancing research, and improving patient care.

Dr Itoo’s nomination underscores his impactful work in bridging clinical excellence with medical education, research advocacy, and public health awareness.
