HUMDARD-E-KUPWARA BN under the aegis organized a KALARUCH RUN A RUN FOR FUN in Kalaruch, Kupwara for children of the area.Total of 180 boys participated in the event. The event comprised of 2.5 KM Run for boys under 15 Years and 5 Km Run for boys above 15 years.
The aim of the event was to ignite the minds of younger generation to hope for better future by taking up sports as a way of living and also to re-kindle competitive spirit amongst them.
HUMDARD-E-KUPWARA BN took an initiative and conducted this event to make a new beginning which will certainly go a long way in brining sports as a culture in the area.The idea was to spread the message in the environment that we have to play some sports or the other to lead a meaningful life.
The top runners in each category was awarded with prizes and refreshment was given to all participants post completion of the event.
