JKCA U-19 team set to participate in Reliance All India Invitation Tourney

The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association’s (JKCA) U-19 Men’s team is all set to depart from Srinagar tomorrow to participate in the Reliance All India Invitation Tournament, organized by the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) at Ahmedabad and Nadiad.

Under the guidance of newly appointed Head Coach Shantanu Ghosh, the 12-team national tournament serves as key preparation for the upcoming domestic season. JKCA has been placed in Group C alongside Gujarat-2, CSCS, and Himachal Pradesh.

J&K will begin its campaign against Himachal Pradesh from August 29 to 31 at GSP Stadium Nadiad, followed by another clash with Himachal from September 2 to 4 at the same venue. Their final group match will be played against CSCS at LBS Stadium Anand from September 6 to 8.

The Jammu and Kashmir U-19 Men’s cricket team for the Reliance All India Invitation Tournament includes Kamaksh Sharma, Salman Ahmed Bakshi, Taskeen Nisar, Asif Muzaffar, Dhruv Sharma, Shiva Thakur, Shaurya Manhas, Jeevesh Gupta, Sidharth Jamwal, Salman Ashraf Dar, Faizan Ahmed Pandit, Abdul Basit Lone, Waqqas Nisar, Owais Gull and Rahil Younis.

The coaching and support staff include Shantanu Ghosh (Head Coach), Suresh Singh (Fielding Coach), Bandeep Singh (Batting Coach), Niyaz Khan (Co-Manager), Rohit Saini (Trainer) and Haseeb Rehman (Physiotherapist).

Brig Anil Gupta (Member Administration, JKCA) and Mithun Manhas (Member Cricket Operations and Development) extended their best wishes to the team ahead of departure.
