J&K selects sub-junior ball badminton players for National Championship

A screening test for the J&K Sub-Junior Ball Badminton Boys & Girls teams was successfully conducted on September 21, 2024, at Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar. The selected players will represent J&K in the 43rd Sub-Junior National Ball Badminton Championship 2024-25 in Rohtak, Haryana.

The initial selection trials took place on August 24 at Gindun Sports Stadium, Raj Bagh, Srinagar. Selected players then attended a residential coaching camp from August 26 to September 9, 2024, at the same venue.

The screening committee included representatives from the J&K Sports Council: Nusrat Gazala (Div. Sports Officer Kashmir), Kabra Altaf (member), and Burhan Ahmad (Physiotherapy member). J&K Ball Badminton Association officials, including General Secretary Arsheena Khan, were also present.

The team will depart for Rohtak on September 23, 2024, with the championship scheduled from September 25 to 29.
