J&K Sees Exciting Start to U-19 State Tennis Cricket Championship

 The 1st J&K U-19 State Tennis Cricket Championship 2025 was inaugurated today by Tarun Uppal at M.A. Stadium, here.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from young cricketers across Jammu & Kashmir, highlighting the region’s growing passion for sports.


Speaking at the ceremony, Tarun Uppal emphasized the championship’s dual objective: to promote sports in the Union Territory and engage youth in positive activities to prevent drug abuse and other social evils. Sunil Kumar, General Secretary of the J&K T10 Tennis Cricket Association, played a key role in organizing the event. The ceremony was also graced by special guests Divyansh Baba and Vakeel Singh.


Sant Kumar, Secretary of the Samba District Tennis Cricket Association and Guest of Honour, praised the organizers for providing a platform to nurture young talent. The championship aims to identify promising players who will represent Jammu & Kashmir at the upcoming National Championship.
