The Jammu & Kashmir Junior Softball teams (Boys & Girls) have been selected after screening by the J&K Sports Council’s Screening Committee, headed by Kabra Altaf, at Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar.
Ayush Singh has been appointed as Coach for the Boys’ team and Ajay Singh will coach the Girls’ team. Shaista Wani and Muneera Hassan will serve as Managers for the Boys and Girls teams respectively, while Siraj Ud Din Dar will accompany the contingent as General Manager.
The teams will compete in the 43rd Junior National Softball Championship at Punjab University, Chandigarh from May 29 to June 2, under the banner of the J&K Softball Association and J&K Sports Council.
The selected Boys’ team includes Athar Hussain, Yamin Hussain, Jai Jamwal, Sajid Hilal, Sahil Sharma, Zameer Hussain, Amaan Ali, Irshad Hussain, Kapish Kalotra, Nasir Hussain, Yashvardhan Singh, Vansh Charak, Ahtisham, Ayaan Hussain, Imran and Hashim Mushtaq, while the Girls’ team comprises Kritika Sharma, Saniya Ashiq, Suzaina Showkat, Haniya Muzaffar, Muntaha Khurshid, Arizoo Aslam, Sobiya Mushtaq, Zainab Zahoor, Misbah Mushtaq, Rahila Showkat, Falak Nabi, Hashmi Iqbal, Arjumand Sohuja, Adeeba Bashir, Gungun Sharma and Arjimand Farooq.
