J&K Excels at Kalarippayattu NSG, Wins Eight Medals

 Jammu and Kashmir delivered an outstanding performance in Kalarippayattu at the 69th National School Games 2025-26 held at Thyagraj Stadium, New Delhi, securing 8 medals and runner-up trophies in U/19 Boys and Girls categories.
A 16-member contingent represented the Union Territory won four silver and four bronze medals, showcasing strong discipline and skill. Silver medallists included Manvi Sharma, Vasundhara Chib, Pratham Vaid and Chirag Puri, while bronze medals were claimed by Angel Gupta, Nitin Kumar, Danish Sharma and Surya Dev Singh Manhas.
Anandika and Tejasvi secured fifth positions, while Aaidah Nabi finished seventh, reflecting the depth of talent in the team. The team was guided by coaches Shabir Ahmed Lone and Sarita Devi, along with team manager Mohd. Hussain. Technical official Danish Sharma also contributed to mentoring and motivation during the event.
