J&K Athletes shine at Asmita National Kayaking & Canoeing League

Athletes from Jammu & Kashmir brought laurels to the Union Territory with a strong performance at the ongoing  Kayaking &  Canoeing Asmita National League being held in Chhattisgarh.

The Jammu & Kashmir Water Sports Kayaking & Canoeing Association congratulated the participating athletes and lauded their dedication, discipline, and hard work. The athletes, trained at Pokiharbal Water Sports Club, have been representing the region at the national level with confidence and determination.

In a proud moment for J&K, athletes Ruksana and Rutba clinched the Silver Medal in the K2 Women’s Kayak Doubles event, marking a significant achievement for the Union Territory. Their success reflects the growing standard of water sports and the effectiveness of structured training at the grassroots level.

The athletes expressed gratitude to the Association and coaches for their continuous support and encouragement, stating that the guidance helped them perform confidently at the national stage.
