J&K Aerobics team flagged off for National Championship

A warm send-off was accorded to the Jammu & Kashmir Aerobics team selected to participate in the National Aerobics Championship, being organized by Kerala Gymnastics Association at Kochi from September 8 to 10.

The team was selected by the Screening Committee headed by Satpal Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, Jammu. The contingent includes gymnasts Rudraksh, Somay, Sadya, Manya, Ragya and Rivka. They will be accompanied by coaches Mitalli and Kurpali, while Ravinder Singh will serve as the team manager.

The team was flagged off by Kiran Watal, President of the Gymnastics Association of J&K and Vice President of the Gymnastics Federation of India, who extended his best wishes to the athletes and expressed confidence in their performance at the national level.

He also lauded the efforts of the coaches and support staff and emphasized the importance of such national-level exposure for the budding gymnasts of the Union Territory
