J&K is blessed with resources and holds the potential for local youth who are bestowed with enormous natural talent and liking for water sports. So far J&K has produced six international players in the water sport. To support the ambitions and passions for all the aspiring sportsmen, for the first time in the history of J&K, Association for Rowing & Sculling procured equipment worth lakhs of rupees to boost the sport and JKARS is the first sports association in J&K to procure equipment and sponsorships for team J&K. Also, Jammu and Kashmir will be hosting its first-ever Indoor National Rowing Championship soon. This is a great opportunity for all the aspiring players to showcase their talent at the championship as these championships are a great opportunity for gaining exposure at the National level.
