Television and film actress Hina Khan visited a number of Army-supported institutions in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday, 27 August 2026, where she interacted with students, teachers, patients, Army personnel and young candidates undergoing skill development programmes.
Her engagements during the visit highlighted themes of education, confidence, perseverance, humanitarian outreach, youth empowerment and aspirations, while also providing her an opportunity to witness the Army’s people-centric initiatives in remote and border areas of Jammu & Kashmir.
During her visit, Khan visited Dagger Parivaar School, Baramulla, and subsequently Army Goodwill School (AGS), Boniyar, in the Uri sector. She also visited 92 Base Hospital, where she interacted with patients in the Gynae and Family Ward, CRS Baramulla, where RJ Harleen Kaur conducted a podcast themed “Hina Khan, The Daughter of Kashmir”, and the Chinar Naujawan Club, where she interacted with candidates undergoing upskilling programmes.

Khan’s visit included an interaction with students and staff at Dagger Parivaar School, Baramulla. She spent time with the children, spoke with members of the school community and observed the educational environment.
