DSEK invites applications from under privileged students to avail 10 percent quota in coaching centres

The directorate of school education Kashmir (DSEK) has invited applications from the under-privileged candidates to avail admission in private coaching centres under 10 percent departmental quota for the session 2018-2019.

The students from Below Poverty Line (BPL) category, orphans, destitute, physically challenged and other under-privileged categories are eligible to apply for the admission through the education department.

“The free coaching facility for the deserving students is one of the broader and pro-academic initiatives taken by the education department during the last one and half year,” said DSEK, G N Itoo.

Itoo appealed to the deserving students to avail the opportunity of supplementary academic support for their larger benefit.
