Tyndale-Biscoe Invitational Football Tournament witnessed a vibrant mix of high-scoring football, closely fought contests and an exciting penalty shootout, as participating school teams continued their quest for glory.The day, as per a statement, began with a dominant performance in Match 11, where DPS Srinagar registered an emphatic 13–1 victory over New Bonvivant English School. Qazi was adjudged Man of the Match for his outstanding contribution to the team’s commanding win.
In Match 12, Tyndale-Biscoe School produced a determined performance to defeat Kashmir Valley School 2–1. The match remained competitive, with Tyndale-Biscoe converting its opportunities effectively. Baris was named Man of the Match for his impressive performance.
The excitement intensified in Match 13, where SRM Welkins Sopore and Foundation World School played out a thrilling 1–1 draw in regulation time. Mueen put Foundation World School ahead in the 11th minute, while Azaan equalised for SRM Welkins Sopore in the 60th minute. The match eventually went into a penalty shootout, where SRM Welkins Sopore prevailed 4–3 to secure a hard-fought victory.The final encounter of the day, Match 14, saw Iqbal Memorial Institute edge past JK Public School 1–0 in a closely contested fixture. Rayaan was declared Man of the Match for his valuable contribution to the team’s victory.
