Digital Boost: E-Ticketing at Tulip Garden Simplifies Entry for Over 3.82 Lakh Visitors

For the first time since its inception, the Tulip Garden in Srinagar implemented an e-ticketing system during the recently concluded blooming season, a move that significantly streamlined entry for over 3.8 lakh visitors, a top official said on Friday.

Director Floriculture, Mathoora Masoom told news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) the digital system was introduced this season in major gardens, including the Tulip Garden and Badamwari Garden, and received a positive response from tourists and locals alike.

She said the garden, which remained open from March 16 to April 16, recorded a total footfall of 3.82 lakh visitors. This included 1,222 international tourists, around 2.24 lakh domestic tourists, and nearly 1.56 lakh local visitors.

The official added that the garden displayed around 70 varieties of tulips, with nearly 80 lakh flowers in bloom, along with one lakh spring varieties. Selfie points were also created for visitors, she added.
