Deputy Commissioner (District Collector) Budgam, Athar Aamir Khan on Monday chaired a meeting to review the land acquisition process for 220 KV Wagora–Budgam–Zainakote Transmission Line project.
The meeting focused on various aspects of the land acquisition process, including the proposed compensation for land required for the construction of transmission towers.
During the meeting, the DC directed the concerned officers to ensure that all procedures are followed diligently and that eligible landowners receive fair compensation as per the applicable rules.
The meeting also reviewed the status of procedural formalities and directed the concerned officers to work in close coordination for the timely implementation of the project.
The meeting was attended by the Collector Land Acquisition Budgam, Collector Land Acquisition Chadoora, Collector Land Acquisition Beerwah, Collector Land Acquisition Khansahib, and other concerned officers.
