53 Battalion CRPF, Baramulla organized a blood donation camp at HQ/53 Battalion, DPL Baramulla. Aneesh Sirohi DIG, CRPF NKOR Baramulla graced the occasion along with all the officers of 53 Battalion, Baramulla. They along with unit personnel donated more than 100 units of blood to save the life of civilians. The unit coordinated with District Hospital Baramulla for preserving the blood in blood bank and for other arrangements. Though CRPF is playing a vital role in internal security and maintaining law and order situation in Valley, it organizes many civic action programmes time to time to help civilians. Interacting with the media on the occasion, Aneesh Sirohi said, “CRPF has proved its mettle as premier force of Central Government. Sacrifice of our men has made us, what we are today. We are ready to face any challenges ahead. This blood donation camp is going to help many needy civilians in future”. He said that such type of programmes as well as other civic action programmes will be organized in future also.
