Counter-terrorism grid in Kashmir Valley reviewed by Army Commander

 Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, today visited various units and formations deployed in the hinterland of the Kashmir Valley to review the prevailing security situation and counter-terrorism grid.


During the visit, officers on the ground briefed him about the current operational scenario, intelligence sharing mechanisms, and coordination with other security agencies to deal with emerging challenges.
The Army Commander was also briefed at the Joint Control Centre in Budgam on joint efforts being undertaken by different agencies to maintain peace and stability in the Valley.


He appreciated the dedication and professionalism of the troops and commended all ranks for maintaining high morale, operational preparedness, and commitment towards safeguarding the region.
