Chenab Bridge Adds New Dimension to the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Experience

 The world’s highest railway arch bridge, the Chenab Bridge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district, has become a major attraction for pilgrims undertaking the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.

Thousands of devotees travelling through the region are making brief stops to witness the engineering marvel towering above the Chenab River. The bridge has become a popular photo and sightseeing destination, adding a unique travel experience to the spiritual journey.

Pilgrims expressed admiration for the iconic structure, describing it as a symbol of India’s engineering excellence and the rapid infrastructure development taking place in Jammu and Kashmir. Many visitors captured photographs and videos of the bridge before continuing towards the holy Amarnath Cave Shrine.The Chenab Bridge, which forms part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project, has significantly enhanced connectivity in the region and has emerged as one of Jammu and Kashmir’s most visited landmarks.

As the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra continues, the bridge is drawing not only tourists but also devotees eager to witness one of the world’s greatest engineering achievements alongside their sacred pilgrimage
