Anti-Drug Drive Gains Momentum in Rawalpora Under Nasha Mukt Abhiyan

In a powerful display of community synergy, the Secure Path Civil Society Organization spearheaded a massive ‘Nasha Mukht Abhiyan’ (Drug-Free Campaign) on Sunday transforming the streets from Wanabal to Rawalpora into a corridor of hope and resolve.

The initiative was brought to life through the collaborative leadership of SDPO Sadder, Gafoor Mir, SHO Sadder, Sheikh Vakil and DO Rangret Sartaj Ahmad Embracing the ‘Sarkaar-Samaj-Baazar’ (Government-Society-Market) model, the rally saw an overwhelming turnout from local traders, youth, Imaams and elders, all united against the rising tide of drug abuse.

The event reached its crescendo at Rawalpora Main Chowk, where S- Umar Bhat, renowned social reformer and Patron of Secure Path, administered a solemn pledge to the participants. Bhat emphasized that the campaign isn’t just a symbolic march but a “battle for the soul of our youth.”

While applauding the police and civil society’s proactive stance, citizens urged the administration to ensure the movement remains result-oriented.

Local representatives assured full logistical and moral support, provided the crackdown on drug peddling remains relentless. The rally concluded with a clear message: Rawalpora will no longer be a silent spectator to the drug menace.
