Amid Covid19,kashmiri Girl Asma Mohidin launches Immunity-Boosting Bakery Products.

As the coronavirus outbreak continues to scare people across the globe, immunity boosters are getting all the attention they should have been. Experts have been advising people to consume immunity-boosting healthy foods. Taking a cue, a girl in Srinagar has come up with an idea to produce immunity-boosting foods with the help of her father, who runs a bakery Hilo Makhbaz in the valley.

Eid-ul-Azha is approaching and this Kashmiri girl is making the best use of her father’s bakery shop to reach out to people and help them. Asma Mohidin, a food technologist, has completed her M.Tech in food technology and is now innovating recipes at his father’s bakery — Hilo Makhba. She has introduced herbs, spices, and seeds in the bakery food items.

We started with testing the products in lab to check the level of efficiency. The lab report mentions that our products are enriched with Vitamin A, Vitamin E, B 6, Omega 3, Omega 6 ”, says Asma Mohidin, a food technologist.

Asma’s father feels it was a need of the hour to do such innovations.As per the owners products like biscuits contain essential ingredients including turmeric, black pepper, oregano, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. They have been found to help in boosting the immunity system.
