J&K Players Shine Bright at National Table Tennis Championship

On the opening day of the 87th Inter-State Sub-Junior & Cadet National Table Tennis Championships, players from Jammu & Kashmir showcased commendable performances in Under-11, Under-13, and Under-15 categories in both singles and team events.


In the Under-15 team event, Saiyam Nischal led the team as Group Captain and displayed excellent leadership. The Jammu & Kashmir team secured a thrilling 3-2 victory over Meghalaya.
In Under-13 singles, Eeshan Gupta defeated his opponent from Bihar with a score of 3-1, while Advik Garg registered an impressive 3-1 win against Andhra Pradesh.


In the Under-11 category, Satvik played a closely fought match against Goa but narrowly lost by 2-3, showing great fighting spirit. The overall performance reflects the growing strength and bright future of table tennis in Jammu & Kashmir
