Khanqah of Shah Hamdan, Srinagar.

Located on the banks of the Jhelum, Khanqah of Shah Hamdan is one of the oldest Islamic sites in Srinagar. Built during the latter half of the 1300s, it is also known as Shah-E-Hamdan Mosque and Khanqah-e-Molla. The Khanqah of Shah Hamdan was constructed by Shah Sikander in memory of Mir Syed Ali Hamdani, a significant preacher and a Persian scholar.
The present-day mosque was revamped and reconstructed by Abu Barkat Khan in 1731.
