Pattan boy hopes to summit Mount Everest after climbing Stok Kangri peak

After climbing 6153m Stok Kangri peak in Ladakh, a 19-year-old boy from Pattan in Baramulla district, Rizza Alee, said that he hopes to summit Mount Everest.
Alee, a 12th class pass out from SP Higher Secondary School, while talking about his experience of climbing Stok Kangri, said that he along with his friend from Delhi, Shubham, started out trek on 12th June at 9:30 am and reached the camp 1, which is 4400m high at 12:30pm.
“We stayed for the night and left at 8:30am for camp 3, which is at a height of 5118m and reached there at 1:30pm. We made a stop before the final summit push, braced ourselves for the worst,” Alee said.
“It was for the first time I was going to summit 6000 mtrs, but I was no stranger to it. I have been preparing this trek for a long by climbing 4000m average. As we began, my courage wavered at few places but I didn’t give up. It is indescribable how I felt when we conquered 6153m peak. My mentor, Manzoor Mir, has inspired me all along and has been helping me to achieve what I couldn’t have done alone,” he said.
“One day I hope to summit biggest peaks,” Alee said, adding I am looking for a sponsor to embrace Mount Everest.
