6th J&K UT-Level Yogasana Sports Championship Concludes

 The 6th Jammu & Kashmir UT Level Yogasana Sports Championship 2025 concluded successfully with great enthusiasm at Multipurpose Indoor Hall, Polo Ground, Srinagar.

Organized by the Jammu & Kashmir Yogasana Sports Association in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council under the banner of “My Youth My Pride”, the three-day event from 5th to 7th November witnessed participation from athletes representing over 20 districts of the Union Territory.

The closing ceremony was graced by Nuzhat Gazala, Divisional Sports Officer, J&K Sports Council. Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar (Asian’s Strongest Man and Weightlifting Coach) and Shafqat, a renowned Judo Coach, who motivated the participants to adopt Yogasana for holistic well-being.

The Organizing Team comprised Zubida Lateef Khan (Competition Director), Basit Nabi Wani (Organizing Secretary), Mohammad Altaf Bhat (Competition Manager) and Shabir Ahmad Dar (Senior Yogasana Coach, J&K Sports Council).

The championship reflected discipline, teamwork and athletic excellence, promoting a culture of fitness and mindfulness. The organizers extended heartfelt gratitude to J&K Bank for their support.
