The Jammu & Kashmir Sqay Association organized the 12th GM Dar Sqay Championship 2026 under the aegis of the Sqay Federation of India in the cherished memory of Late Grandmaster Dar, former President of the Sqay Federation of India.
According to a handout issued here, the championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from Sqay athletes representing 16 States across the country, making the event a grand celebration of sportsmanship, unity and the rich martial art heritage of Sqay. Athletes from Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana and Odisha displayed remarkable performances and earned appreciation for their skill, discipline and competitive spirit.
The Sub-Junior boys and girls of Jammu & Kashmir delivered outstanding performances. Mir Aalima, Mohammad Hafiz, Anikait Dutt, Daniya Hilal and Abid won gold medals, while Drishti Mattoo, Shanaya Gigoo, Pahal Pandita and Hitanshu secured silver medals. Mohammad Anas bagged a bronze medal.
