WHS Sports Hub Partners With Franklin Sports To Promote Pickleball In Kashmir

WHS Sports Hub introduced pickleball in the year 2023 making Jammu & Kashmir’s first pickleball court. They conducted the first-ever Pickleball Demo and Introduction Clinic in Kashmir, organized by Franklin Sports, a pioneer sports equipment company in Pickleball based out of USA. This groundbreaking event took place at WHS Sports Hub, Sonwar Bagh, Srinagar, offering a unique and exciting opportunity for sports enthusiasts in the region.
The clinic was conducted by Mr Manish Rao, Pickleball Pro and Director of Franklin, India. Participants got the opportunity to learn from experienced players, understood the rules of the game, and gained valuable insights of the sport.

This event was hosted by WHS Sports Hub Co- Founders, Farid Singh and Viraj Singh, who expressed their excitement about bringing this innovative sport to Kashmir. “We are proud to host the first pickleball event in the region. Our goal is to foster the love for sports and introduce new and exciting activities to our community,” said Farid Singh.

Pickleball, a rapidly growing sport worldwide, combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis, offering a unique and engaging experience for players of all ages and skill levels. This clinic served as a perfect introduction for those looking to explore a new sport.
