U-16 Football tournament concludes at Baramulla.

A week long Football tournament titled ‘DC Cup U-16 Football Tournament’ concluded at Sher-e-Khaas Baramulla with Deputy Commissioner Dr G N Itoo as the Chief Guest and SSP Baramulla, Abdul Quyoom as Guest of Honour at the event.
The tournament was organised by the District Youth Services and Sports Department in collaboration with Sheikh ul Alam Sports association Baramulla in which over 16 teams participated.
The final match was played between Social Welfare Football Club Ushukra and State Football Academy Khawaja Bagh and was won by Social Welfare Football Club Ushukra.
Such events enable youth to channelize their potential in a positive direction.
The administrations commitment of developing sports infrastructure, DC said that various sports activities are being organized across the length and breadth of the district with an aim to inculcate the sports passion among our youth.
He also announced Rs 10,000 cash prize among the Winners and Rs 5000 among the runner up team.
