Two young boys set up Motivation from Kashmir YouTube channel.

Amid the closed schools which halted the student-teacher interaction since March,two Kashmiri students have floated a YouTube channel aiming to establish non-formal communication with the youth of Kashmir.

Named as Motivation from Kashmir, the young students Muntazir Mehdi and Faizan Nabi set-up the channel to provide free online platform to students to interact, share and learn.“We record videos on the themes of success, failure, adolescent challenges and more importantly how to cope up with depression,” said Faizan

In the short span of time, the channel has got 260 subscribers, with an average 100 views each video. “We touch the core of youth thinking and aspiration; since we are ourselves students and in teenage, we understand our target audience better,” explains Muntazir.Both Faizan and Muntazir are class 12th students.They said through the channel, they are aiming to establish non-formal communication with the young minds. Young boys and girls are full of energy, dreams and aspirations; we want to share our day to day learning and experiences with them, and provide them platform to share theirs, they added.
