Tourism Ministry to promote summer offbeat destinations in Kashmir

The Ministry of Tourism has asked the Jammu and Kashmir tourism department to start an initiative for the promotion of summer offbeat destinations.
A senior tourism official told that they have identified 35 destinations which will be discussed with the tourism ministry.
Under the initiative, a large number of off-beat destinations will become vibrant, some of which were disconnected in the winters.
The tourism officials stated that this will increase the flow of tourists to the Kashmir valley. Currently, there is a good flow of tourists in the Kashmir valley and after this initiative, more tourists will be attracted to the Kashmir valley, he said.
In addition, the Department of Tourism Kashmir is also planning to invite famous travel vloggers here to promote the Kashmir valley at the national and international levels. This initiative will commence soon, as stated by the tourism department officials.
Furthermore, the department is planning to organize some grand events in Jammu and Kashmir. These events will be organized in these off-beat destinations. The department is making every possible effort to put these places on the tourist map, a tourism official who requested not to be named told.
