Three players from Kashmir participate in sky running national championship

Three players from J&K Sky Running Association (SRA) participated in the first ever senior men sky running national championship 2019 at Himachal Pradesh.

The event was held from 4 to 6 April under the banner of Sky Running Federation of India. According to team manager, the players from J&K participated Bashir Ahmad, Mir Arshad and Mohsin Ahmad participated in the 15 km distance race with the altitude of 3000 meters.

“Our team performed well and we hope if the tourism department will assist us, we can flourish and the best athletes can be developed,” said manager of the team.

Earlier the state team was selected under the supervision of its president RiyazWani.
