Awarded “Best Post Graduate (Prosthodontist) of the year 2018” Dr.Shabeena Mustafa(PG Student) of Institute of Dental Studies and Technology,Modinagar was awarded as Best Post Graduate(Prosthodontist) of the year 2018,by Society of Scientific Research and Studies(SSRS) in association with International Association Trust(IAT) in an award ceremony held in Chandigarh on 14 April 2019. Earlier in February 2019,she got third prize for her paper presentation on “Prosthetic rehabilitation over implants and its effect on Peri- implant tissue”,held at Dubai.
Dr Shabeena is a resident of Lal Bazar Srinagar,did her schooling from Mallinson Girls School and Bachelor of Dental Surgery(BDS) from Government Dental College Srinagar Kashmir and currently Persuing her post Graduation from Institute of Dental Studies and Technology,Modinagar U.P.
Dr Shabeena is daughter of Dr Mohammad Mustafa ,Retired Professor (Kashmir University)and Dean Academics of SSM Engineering College
Another two Doctors from Kashmir
Dr Adil Malik was honoured with “Young Oral Pathologist of the year-2018”, whose work on spindle cell lesions and has classified the spindle cell lesions, which has been done for the first time.
Dr Asiya Basheer bagged the “Young Pedodontist of year -2018” award for her work on different sealers & different endodontically materials.
Their contribution in the field of dental services are truly commendable. These three are truly an inspiration for other youth of Kashmir who wants to contribute to the society.
