Three days district wushu championship concludes in Srinagar

The District Wushu championship Srinagar has concluded under the auspicious presence of the members/dignitaries of Wushu association Srinagar. The championship started on 13th of December, 2019 and the Guest of the moment under whom the Championship was kick started were Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar (Manager Indoor Sports Complex Srinagar around 270 players of different schools/clubs and academies of district Srinagar participated in the event with great enthusiasm. Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar delivered some golden words to the participants which will definitely prove fruitful to them and encourage them to get into the sports as sports develops sense of discipline in them. The event was headed by Mr. Mohammad Maqsood Rather (Secretary Wushu Association Srinagar), Irfan Ahmad Wani, Rameez Ahmad Dar, Aijaz Hassan.

The championship went on for three consecutive days and in the Championship there were Toulo and Sunshou events and it was a proved movement for district Wushu Association Srinagar as Toulo event took place in the in the Valley for the first time. All the participants tried their best to make their mark but only few were able to come forth to their expectations on 15th of December the championship was concluded and medals were distributed amongst the winners and the officials were also facilitated with souniers.

The overall champions of the district championship were Indoor Wushu Academay. The chief Guest congratulated the medalist and soothed the participants who could not made it.
The District Wushu Association Srinagar also facilitated Munazha Gazy who recently begged Silver Medal in Asian Championship 2019 and made the country proud. District Wushu Association Srinagar also fecilitated the players who brought in the recently held Nationals, Shah Sisters Kifa Shah and Aliza Shah who begged Bronze medals respectively, Ms Henna Abdullah also begged Bronze in the junior category . And Ayra and Ansa Chisti who begged silver and bronze medals in junior nation and School National games Respectivily.
