Successful screening test for J&K Sub-Junior Ball Badminton team sets stage for nationals..

In a remarkable display of talent and determination, the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Sub-Junior Ball Badminton Team conducted a 10-day coaching camp and screening test, culminating in the selection of players who will represent the region in the 42nd Sub-Junior National Ball Badminton Championship for Boys and Girls, 2022-23.

The rigorous selection process took place at the iconic Gindun Sports Stadium in Raj Bagh, Srinagar, where the best young talents showcased their skills. The event attracted attention from sports enthusiasts and officials alike as the participants vied for the opportunity to represent their home state.

The selected players, a testament to their dedication and ability, will now embark on a journey to the national stage. The 42nd Sub-Junior National Ball Badminton Championship for Boys and Girls is scheduled to be held in Bhilai, Chattisgarh, from October 15 to 19, 2023.

The screening committee overseeing the selection process was comprised of distinguished individuals from the J&K Sports Council and the Ball Badminton Association, including Abdul Majeed Dar, Senior Manager of the J&K Sports Council, Akbar Ahmad, a Member of the Sports Council, Iqbal Ahmad, the Manager of Gindun Sports Stadium in Raj Bagh, Srinagar, and Arsheena Ashraf, the General Secretary of the J&K Ball Badminton Association and Joint Secretary of the (BBFI). Additionally, respected national players were present to ensure the integrity of the screening test.

The stage is now set for the J&K Sub-Junior Ball Badminton Team to make their mark on the national level, and the sports community eagerly anticipates their performance in Bhilai, Chattisgarh, starting on October 15, 2023.

This event serves as a testament to the unwavering commitment of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory to the promotion of sports and the nurturing of young talents, showcasing their abilities on a national platform.
