South Kashmir youth offered admission for LLM at Internationally acclaimed institute UNICRI

Born and brought up in Pushroo a village of South Kashmir’s Anantnag, Suhail Bhat, 25, has been offered to pursue The Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Transnational Crime and Justice from the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI). The United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute is one of the five United Nations Research and Training Institutes.
Suhail started his educational journey from Modern Public School Nowgam. He joined Iqbal Memorial Institute in 9th and completed his 12th from Police Public School at Srinagar. In 2010, he joined Islamic University of science and technology and finished BBA.
Since childhood Suhail was inclined towards learning law and hence in 2014 joined ILS Law College at Pune, to pursue LLB. Proving his interest right, in 2017 Suhail came out as well learned law student with first class degree and was one of the best student of his batch.
Learning law in the college wasn’t enough for Suhail soon after finishing his degree he started practicing law in Delhi before various forums including Supreme and High court in Delhi.
Since 2017, Suhail gained all the experience in the criminal law. Suhail call the best time of his life which he spent in both of the Delhi courts, “it was a best time for me to learn most heinous criminal cases and understand all the procedures of it,” said Suhail.
In August 2018 Suhail came back to valley and continued his practice at High Court of Jammu and Kashmir.
On the basis of the relevant experience, writings, CV and impressive Statement of Purpose, Suhail got the admission in UNICRI and will join on January 2019.
After finishing the masters Suhail have plans to go for further studies to enhance his skills.
