SKUAST-K trains rural women in agri-business skills

The Division of Agricultural Extension and Communication at SKUAST-Kashmir’s Faculty of Agriculture, Wadura, organised two MSME-sponsored training programs focusing on entrepreneurial empowerment of rural women through agricultural and horticultural processing.

The programmes trained participants in processing and value addition of farm produce, with hands-on sessions in preparing and preserving jams, jellies, and other products using modern equipment like pulpers and steam cookers.
