SBI Clerk recruitment for almost 8000 vacancies to end on Jan 26: Check how to apply, eligibility details

The State Bank of India will be closing its online applications for almost 8000 clerk vacancies on January 26. The SBI Recruitment 2020 notification was released at the beginning of January to hire against 7,870 posts of Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) in clerical cadre.

How to apply for SBI clerk recruitment 2020

Step 1: Visit the official website of SBI i.e. sbi.co.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the career link
Step 3: A new page will appear
Step 4: Under the latest notification, click on the link which says Recruitment of Junior Associate,
Step 5: Read the notification carefully
Step 6: Click on the apply link
Step 7: A new page will appear
Step 8: Register yourself and fill the application form
Step 9: Submit it

SBI Recruitment 2020: Important information

  • Online application first day: January 3, 2020
  • Last date to apply: January 26, 2020
  • The download of admit card: February 2020
  • SBI Clerk paper (Preliminary): February/March 2020
  • The download of admit card: April 2020
  • Application fee for General/ OBC/EWS candidates: Rs. 750
  • No application fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates

Eligibility criteria to apply for SBI Clerk recruitment

Age Limit

  • Minimum age: 20
  • Maximum age: 28

Education qualification

The candidate must have a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the central government.

Examination pattern for SBI recruitment

Preliminary exam

The online examination will be an objective type with 100 marks.
The exam will be divided into three categories

  • English: 30 questions,
  • Numerical ability: 35 questions
  • Reasoning: 35 questions

Main examination

The online exam will be 200 marks with 190 questions.

  • General/Finance Awareness: 50 questions
  • English: 40 questions,
  • Quantitative aptitude: 50 questions
  • Reasoning: 50 questions
