Renzushah inaugurates UT-Level Lineal Mixed Martial Arts C’ship

Farooq Renzushah, Chief Commissioner of JK Scouts, Hindustan Scouts, inaugurated the First UT-Level Lineal Mixed Martial Arts Championship 2024 at a grand event organized by the Kashmir Elite Club in Srinagar. Arshad Aziz, Syed Shuja, Aali Shah of Tahreek-e-Dawat Tasawuf, and martial arts coach Rameena, attended the function.
Renzushah lauded the youth’s enthusiasm and participation, emphasizing the value of martial arts in building physical and mental resilience.
In his speech, Renzushah highlighted Kashmir’s historic contributions to martial arts, tracing its origins to ancient Sharda Peeth, established as a hub of learning in the first century. He shared stories of iconic Kashmiri figures like Sultana Kota Rani, who defended the Valley with her martial prowess, and stressed the importance of teaching local history to foster unity and pride among Kashmir’s youth. At the ceremony, Renzushah was honored with an award for his contributions to Scouts, martial arts.
