The skipper of J&K under-19 cricket team, Qamran Iqbal has been selected for India Under-19 B team for the quadrangular series starting in Lucknow from September 12.
BCCI selectors on Tuesday announced its Under-19 squads for the series and Under-19 Asian Cup.
The selectors have announced two teams, India Under-19 A and B for the series.
In the B-team, talented J&K cricketer Qamran Iqbal has been included. The India U-19 A and B will take on Nepal and Afghanistan in the tournament.
Qamran Iqbal who has been part of India Under-19 coaching camp from last one month impressed selectors with his talent and commitment towards the game.
He has been part of training camp under Irfan Pathan in Sheri-Kashmir cricket stadium before being selected for Under-19 India coaching camp.
The junior Pathan mentored him and was also having private net sessions with the talented cricketer.
India Under-19 B team will take on Nepal in first match on September 12.
