Police Martyrs Memorial Volleyball Tournament held in Ganderbal

Jammu and Kashmir Police under its Civic Action Programme Tuesday organised “Police Martyrs Memorial Volleyball Tournament” at Government Higher Secondary School Khurhama in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

The tournament was inaugurated by SSP Ganderbal Ragav S. Eight teams from across the district are participating in the tournament which focusses on providing an opportunity for the youth of Ganderbal district to showcase their talent. The tournament also aims at instilling in them the traits of team work, discipline and sportsmanship. During the inaugural address, SSP Ganderbal appreciated all the teams for taking part in the event. He also stressed upon the need for youth to take up sports which would enhance their physical as well as mental health and channel their focus away from the menace of drugs and other vices. On the occasion, Dy SP Ganderbal Nazir Ahmad and other senior police officers were also present.
